There will be a 5 hour ethics workshop presented by Catherine Ivy, LCSW, Director of NASW-Georgia, on August 10th, from 8:30am to 2:30pm at the Hoskins Center at Memorial Hospital. 5 Ethics CEUs will be offered from NASW-Georgia.

Using HIV/AIDS and complex mental health issues as case study content, the workshop will explore legal and ethical issues, individual and institutional attitudes that may affect services, opportunities to provide culturally competent services, and a framework or model for ethical decision making. It is intended for practitioners in both direct services and administrative roles in a variety of practice settings, working with diverse groups of clients/consumers.

Cost is $50 per person, and a continental breakfast and lunch will be included. If you choose not to eat, the cost will remain $50 per person.
