Please join us for 2016-2017 Annual Meeting on June 28th, 2017 at 11:30-1:00 at the Marsh Auditorium.  As a member of the CSWA-S, this is the most important session to attend.  This is your opportunity to have a real impact on how this organization is run.  You can renew your membership, run for office, vote for your officers, discuss suggested changes, and review annual progress.

This year, you will also get to receive one CEU on the topic of Dimensional Diagnosing.  Mandy Miller, MS, LCSW will be presenting information on how the shift from the trait-based model of the DSM-IV TR to the dimensional model of the DSM 5 changes the way that we think about psychological disorders, the treatments for these disorders, and how we think about diagnosing people. This is an exciting shift for clients as we begin to recognize that the behaviors they are demonstrating are normal behaviors that fall outside of the what is functional or healthy for that individual person in their individual circumstances.
