Registration is now open for our 32nd Annual Julius Hornstein CSWA-Savannah Conference !

 

Topic on Friday: Ethics of Sex, Lies & Telemental Health Workshop 6 CUES Topic on Saturday: Anxiety & Obsessive Compulsive Spectrum Disorders Workshop. 6 CUES. Dr. Becky Beaton, who currently serves on the Ethics Committee of the Georgia Psychological Association will be presenting both of these workshops! 

 

This year's Annual Conference will take place on Friday, March 9, 2018 and Saturday, March 10, 2018, and will be held at the Coastal Georgia Center in downtown Savannah. 

 

The Conference will provide you with 12 CEUs.  The early registration fee will be $195 for members, $225 for non members.  The regular registration fee will be $225 for members and 255 for non members.  The registration fee will be $275 on the day of the event.  This averages to $13-$19.65 per CEU, and includes Lunch and breakfast!

Who Should Attend and CEU information:
Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Mental Health Professionals, Medical Professionals, and Students. Attendees will receive 12 CEUs. This conference has also been approved by the GA LPCA CE committee for Licensed Professional Counselors for 12 core hours.  Approval pending
 

BIO:

 "Dr. Beaton has been on the Georgia Psychological Association's Ethics Committee for over seven years and Ethics Chair since July 2014. She was also the Ethics Chair for the Licensed Professional Counselor’s Association of Georgia (LPCA-GA) for two years and has taught numerous ethics workshops over the past 17 years.  You may have seen her on one of the 60 episodes that she filmed as the featured psychologist on TLC's "Hoarding: Buried Alive." She has also made recent appearances on The Anderson Cooper Show, Good Morning America, and CNN Headline News.  Additionally, Dr. Beaton is the Founder and Clinical Director of The Anxiety & Stress Management Institute in Atlanta. Her primary passion is teaching and mentoring. She has served as Adjunct Faculty for both Emory and Georgia State Universities, and Dr. Beaton was voted Counselor Educator of the Year by LPCA-GA in 2005 and received their Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015.
