Join the international expert in sexuality and affair recovery and the author of The New Monogamy; Redefining Your Relationship After Infidelity, and Getting the Sex You Want; Shed Your Inhibitions and Reach New Heights of Passion Together, Dr. Tammy Nelson, in a new, cutting edge training where she will share her expertise working with the varieties of affairs that couples face today, and the many ways that couples can recover from the hurt and betrayal that can affect  intimacy in relationships.  This workshop will help clinicians know how to help couples move into erotic recovery and long term healing where empathy, forgiveness and trust will create passionate monogamous partnerships.  Issues around eroticism, sexuality and connection for a new future for the couple will be addressed.

Dr. Nelson will use real case examples to illustrate how breaches of monogamy in parallel love relationships, online affairs, pornography, sexually compulsive behaviors, emotional affairs and other types of infidelity can affect sexuality, intimacy and emotional connection in different ways and how couples can save and restart their marriages through three phases of treatment and a recovery process that avoids shame and retaliation.

This workshop will delve into the meaning of each type of affair and participants will learn interventions to help couples repair, restructure and redefine their commitment for a new future and a stronger more insightful and connected partnership.

Each phase of recovery will show how couples can shift their process from goals focused on blame and lack of trust to insight and awareness, away from power struggles and lack of forgiveness to responsibility and empathy, and away from trauma and intrusive thoughts to erotic recovery.

This workshop focuses on the healing process of affair recovery, which includes two main sections; erotic recovery and healing from the trauma of betrayal.  Part One will create a new revised formula for treatment plans after affairs, with the three phases of recovery and Part two will include long term monogamy plans.

This workshop will work closely with a new paradigm for a more creative vision for a stronger methodology of treatment focused on a more fluid and flexible dialogue to create the more sustainable monogamy that is necessary at a time in our social structure where transparency and authenticity define the most resilient couples.

After attending this workshop participants will learn the most effective and cutting edge therapy for treating affairs.  There is no one teaching a more current and up to date strategy for recovery than the top expert in the international field of affair recovery than the world renowned and well-recognized expert, Dr. Tammy Nelson.

Using a theoretical model that works, this seminar will move beyond the current treatment model of perpetrator, victim, and rescuer and focus on her Three Part Recovery Process for Infidelity Recovery – with step by step Core Interventions for both the cheating partner, the partner who has been betrayed and the outside partner to grow past the affair and create stronger relationships and a closer intimacy with their current partner, or the partner of choice.
